From time to time, Walt Disney World releases discounts during slower times of the year in order to attract more visitors. If you are planning on visiting Disney World over Christmas, during Spring Break or during the middle of summer, it is very unlikely you will see discounts at all. Discounts come in two flavors, room only discounts and Magic Your Way package discounts. The room only discounts cover general public, Annual Passholder and Florida resident discounts. The package discounts are typically for the general public, though you often see regional discounts for Canadian or UK residents.

Magic Your Way Package Discounts
- Free Disney Gift Card Deal – January 3 – August 14, 2010 – Anyone can get a free Disney Gift Card of up to $750 with a Disney World Magic Your Way package reservation (extended to cover summer dates on February 15 – Summer Free Disney Gift Card Deal)
- Kids Say and Eat Free – March 14 – August 14, 2010 – Disney VISA and debit cardholders can book a package where kids 3 – 9 get free park passes and the quick service dining plan free.
Disney World Room only discounts
- January – June Room Only/Package discounts – January 1 – June 3, 2010 – Anyone can get a special discount on their reservation.
- January – June AP discounts – January 1 – June 3, 2010 – Annual Passholders can receive a special discount off of their room only or package reservations.
- January – June FL Resident discounts – January 1 – June 3, 2010 – Florida residents can bet a special discount on room only reservations.
- June – August Room Only/Package discounts – June 4 – August 14, 2010 – Anyone can get a special discount on their reservation.
Other Disney World Discounts
From time to time, Disney World offers special discounts, such as military or bounce back discounts. Currently, here is what is available:
- Disney’s Armed Forces Salute Ticket – January 3 – September 30, 2010 – Active Duty and retired military members can purchase up to five 4 day basic park pass to Disney World for $99 each.
- Disney’s Armed Forces Room Only Discount – January 3 – September 30, 2010 – Active Duty and retired military members can get up to a 40% discount on room only and package reservations
