Do you know if the Military Salute tickets purchased in 2011 that are scheduled to expire Sept 30 will be extended as they have done in the past? We still have a couple of days on our 2011 tickets but we are not planning on going until Oct which is after the scheduled expiration.

    Thanks
    Greg

Greg – My understanding is that the ticket will expire at the end of September, but I do not know that for sure. I would wait a few days and get a hold of Shades of Green ticketing, they will know for sure.

There is so many conflicting issues between Shades of Green, base offices and Disney. My husband and daughter went in October and bought two tickets, my daughter and I are going in December. Military base and shades both say it is fine to purchase separately and activate. Someone at Disney said once she is in the system she can’t have another ticket. Very confusing. Also do you know if my niece will need an Id to use the ticket, she does not have one even though over 18.

Patti – Sorry, I am unable to answer military questions, I am just not familiar with the rules and regulations to give you an accurate response, I would just be guessing. My suggestion would be to go here first, you may get a better answer:

So my friend’s brother is in the military and wants to by Disneyland tickets for us. Can he do that? And if so does he have to buy them for himself as well and accompany us or can we get in without him?

    Thanks!

My understanding is the military member can buy them for himself and family, and must be in attendance if possible. If not, the spouse must be there to activate them. However, I really don’t know the ins and outs of these tickets, I would strongly suggest you have someone contact the department on base that sells these to check up on the current rules.

Do the Military Park Hoppers need to be used on consecutive days, or can we take a day off?

Beth – No, they do not. The only expiration on the tickets is that they must be used by September 25, 2013. You could use one day today, one day next month, etc.
