Travel Dates: January 2 – May 22, 2011
Florida Residents can purchase the 4-Day Wild 4 Disney Pass from January 2, 2011 – May 22, 2011. Each 4-Day Wild 4 Disney Pass ticket allows you to visit one Theme Park per day for $119.00 plus tax. The price is the same for adults and children. Florida Residents can also add the Park Hopper Option and the Water Park Fun & More Option to enjoy even more flexibility. The Park Hopper and Water Park options each add about $27 plus tax.
There is a one week blockout for usage April 17, 2011 – April 24, 2011 and the ticket expires on May 26, 2011.
When you order Florida Resident tickets, you will receive an exchange certificate in the mail. Redeem the exchange certificate at any Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket window by presenting the exchange certificate and valid photo ID.
Tickets are non-transferable, are only valid during regularly scheduled operating hours and exclude activities/events priced separately. No additional discounts apply. Proof of Florida residency for each adult required.
The Florida Resident Wild 4 Disney park pass can be purchased on the Disney World Ticket website.
4 day fl resident pass. 4 days each day at a disney park, but can you do one disney park back to back. we have a 2 yr old grandson and want to do 2 days at disney, one disney moviese and one magic animal kindom. Thanks
Marie – As with all Disney World tickets, what you do one day does not effect what you can do the next day. With these 4 day tickets, you could visit Magic Kingdom all four days, it does not matter. The only restriction is that without the hopping, you can only do one park per day, to do more than one park each day, you need to pay the extra money to purchase the hopping.
Do you have to use 4 days in a row for Wild 4 Disney Pass. I am not sure if the May expiration date is to purchase 4 day pass or this is when the 4 days have to be used by.
Raegan – The tickets do not have to be used four days in a row, they can be used any four days, but they just have to be used by May 26, 2011 or they expire.
I am sending my son ( Florida resident) with his family from Ct to Disney. Is it true that I cant use this ticket. He will have to exchange the ticket but nobody he is traveling with is a Florida resident. I was told by Disney ticket agent that they don’t use ID for kids ..can anybody confirm this…Thanks
Can you use two parks in one day on this ticket ??
Tom – Typically, Disney only asks for ID from the person purchasing the tickets. Officially, you need to be a FL resident to purchase and use the pass, though kids are exempt, as they do not carry any ID (plus the likely hood they are FL residents is high if they are traveling with FL residents). For any adults traveling that are not FL residents, you should purchase a standard park pass, though your son can try to purchase all of the passes at the gate with his ID and see what happens first.
The base ticket ($119) is for one park per day, you will need to add on the hopping ($27) in order to go to more than one park per day.
Can you buy the wild for disney tickets at the park?
Catherine – I believe so. In years past, you were able to purchase them at the parks, though there isn’t anything that says yes or no on this one.
Since the Wild 4 Disney pass expires on 5/26, have you heard if Disney World plans to offer a similar FL Resident 4-Day pass later in the year? I believe they have done so in past years. I’m not sure if you get advance notice or future Disney offers.
Mike – Nothing for summer months, that never happens, maybe for the Fall months, but with ticket offers like this, they are usually announced the day they launch.
I purchased this ticket in Feb at Fort Wilderness, but opted not to add the water park option at that time. I have used 3 of my days already, leaving me with 1 day left. I just called Disney Ticket Services to inquire about the water park option, and I was told that I can still purchase the water Park option for $28, and it would give me 4 water park days. I reiterated that I had already used 3 of my ticket days, and being that I have only one park day left, that if I were to purchase now I would only get one water park day, but she stated that no, I would still get 4 water park days. Does that sound right?
Kristi – Yes, that sounds right. The water park add-on is based on the original days on the park passes. Double check that as you are adding it though, and make sure you do so before you use that last day.
Can I use the wild pass on Feb 29 ?? I havent seen that the date was blacked out. Wanted to know before I bought the tickets. Thank you
Tamera – You should be fine, there aren’t any special tickets required for 2/29, and it is not blacked out on the website info. If you are concerned, you can purchase your tickets at the gate and ask as you are buying them.
Oh, and this is the info for the 2011 pass, you may want to check out the 2012 pass:
2012 Florida Resident Wild for 3 Pass
Hi. My Aunt and Uncle (FL residents) just purchased these passes online for us, (we are NY residents). Do they need to be present when we go to the parks?
I was told that I can purchase the FL resident 3 day deal for $99 at the theme parks.. Can you verify this information?
Thanks 🙂
Naida – The 2012 information is here: Florida Resident Wild for 3 Pass
Keith,
I took the advice of another poster, and opened up a Disney account under my wife. Sure enough, we received a PIN code within 2 weeks. Unfortunatey, it was not as good as the current spring room-only discount, even though it was for the same time frame. We got 10% during May. Oh well, at least I know they really to exist!! Thanks for the work you do on this board.
