Travel Dates: June 15 – August 14, 2012
Walt Disney World has released special Summer room only discounts for Annual Passholders. Very few resorts have been made available with the discount.
To qualify, you must check in during the travel dates, however, you can extend your stay past August 14, 2012. Only the nights included in the travel dates listed above will be discounted. Availability is limited, though all resorts and room types are available. The savings are as follows:
- Save 20% at All-Star Sports
- Save 25% at Disney Caribbean Beach, Contemporary and Grand Floridian Resorts
- Save 30% at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs Resorts
Other resorts may be included, but are discounted at a lesser percentage, most around 5%.
Some Sample Nightly Rates:
- All-Star Sports, standard location room: $69.60 per night
- Pop Century, standard location room: $87.40 per night
- Caribbean Beach, standard view room: $123.00 per night
- Animal Kingdom Lodge, standard view room: $192.50 per night
- Animal Kingdom Lodge, standard room, club level: $276.50 per night
- Beach Club, garden view room: $259 per night
- Contemporary, Tower – Theme Park view room: $371.25 per night
- Saratoga Springs, 2 bedroom villa: $423.50 per night
The prices above are per night, and do not include the 12.5% room tax. Dates covered by this discount are in the several pricing season, some nights may be more expensive that the prices listed above. Some nights may not be discounted, and weekend prices may be slightly higher.

Annual Passholders can also book a package that include these special nightly rates, and one of the three Disney Dining plans, which are not discounted. An active annual passport will be required at check in to receive the discount.

Jaeebird – Uh, no idea. 2013 packages and rates have not yet been released, and probably won’t be for another month. It is likely we will not see February discounts for another 6 months. Check back then, I will have a better idea. For now, really, really doubtful, but possible.
Curious if these discounts will follow into September 2012 as we have a stay booked from the 15th Sept for 11 days, as we are hanging out to get a annual pass holder disc.
Andrew – Disney has been very late with AP and FL resident discounts this year, we are expecting them here at any time.
Just curious, does Disney historically offer *any* sort of discount for May travel? Our family of 6 is staying at the Art of Animation May 6-15, 2013 (on the dining plan) and we are hoping for some sort of discount. Are we being too hopeful?
Sunny – Yes, May is usually discounted. We probably won’t see those until early next year though.
