Walt Disney World has just announced that the current buy 4 get 3 free promotion will be extended to cover more dates during the summer, 2009. Starting February 9, the buy 4 get 3 free promotion will be available for stays through August 15, 2009.
This is great news for those traveling in July and August. It also appears that the September discount, whether it will be free dining or not, will be available starting for stays on August 16.
I am looking for some specials for room only discount on villas 4/13-4/18/2009. Are there any out there?

Right now, there are not any room only discounts available for April. We may see AP discount soon, but anything else is looking very unlikely at this point. Have you considered booking the buy 4 get 3 free with just one day park passes?
So many packages available for families, but today there are so many different types of families, for example alot of single parents. I am one of those parents! I have a boy who will soon be turning 11, who has always wanted me to take him to Disney World. He will soon get to an age where Disney World will no longer be magical. I’ve struggled, searching for an affordable package for us. They just are not out there. Help, any ideas or packages out there they I’ve just missed????
You hint at the Magical Beginnings discounts that Disney usually rolls out for September. When might that be announced and do you hear any murmurs on if dining will be included for free like in prior years? Our family is trying to decide if we should take advantage of the 4/3 free deal or bet on free dining being offered in the Fall.

Based on what we have been seeing, we are pretty sure we will see free dining again for 2009. Historically, it has been released in early April, and we are expecting the same time frame this year. If it were me, I would book the buy 4 get 3 free now, for most people, it is actually a better deal than the free dining, and adjust later if free dining works better for you, and it is released.
I personally would much prefer to go in the month of October. For one, it’s hot as balls down there in August and crowded. It’s much better to go in the fall when things calm down a bit and it’s not so hot. I’ve been before in October and also in December and it was very tolerable. Although, December of 2005 was kind of cold at night. Like low 50’s …..to cold for me for Disney.
