Walt Disney World has released special Winter 2014 room only discounts for Annual Passholders.
To qualify, you must check in during the travel dates, however, you can extend your stay past April 12, 2014, but only the nights included in the travel dates listed above will be discounted. Availability is limited, though all resorts and room types are available.
The savings are as follows:
- Save 25% at Disney’s Pop Century, All-Star Music and Sports Resorts and Disney’s Art of Animation Family Suites
- Save 25% at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside, Fort Wilderness Resort (cabins only).
- Save 35% at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Polynesian, Contemporary and Grand Floridian Resorts. Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Boardwalk and Beach Club Villas.
Savings from March 6 – 13, 2014 will be slightly less than listed above.
Other resorts may be included, but are discounted at a lesser percentage, most around 5%. The standard Little Mermaid rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation resort are excluded, as are the campgrounds at Disney’s Fort Wilderness and 3 bedroom villas.

- Polynesian, standard view room: $270.27 per night
- Grand Floridian, garden view room: $307.44 per night
- Saratoga Springs, 2 bedroom villa: $389.34 per night
The prices above are per night, and do not include the 12.5% room tax. Some nights may not be discounted, and weekend prices may be slightly higher. The discount covers several Disney “seasons”, including, Value, Regular and Peak. The prices above are based on Value Season, and therefore your price may be higher, depending upon your travel dates.
Annual Passholders can also book a package that include these special nightly rates, and one of the three Disney Dining plans, which are not discounted. An active annual passport will be required at check in to receive the discount. This offer must be booked by December 31, 2013. After December 31, this offer will still be available, however, the discounts will be less.

However, Disney only allows you to use one discount at a time, so you can’t use both. You just need to check which option is best for you.
This discount is for Annual Passholders only. If you do not have an annual pass, you will need to look at another discount that is available, like the military one if you qualify, or some other deal for your dates.
You can rent scooters in the parks once you are inside.
