Walt Disney World has released special Spring/Summer room only discounts for Florida Residents, available during the travel dates listed above.
To qualify, you must check in during the travel dates, however, you can extend your stay past June 14, 2012. Only the nights included in the travel dates listed above will be discounted. Availability is limited, though all resorts and room types are available.
The savings are as follows:
- Save 10% – 20% at Disney Value Resorts
- Save 25% at Disney Moderate Resorts
- Save 30% at Disney Deluxe Resorts
- Save 30% at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts

- Pop Century, standard room: $91.20 per night
- All-Star Movies, preferred location room: $122.55 per night
- Art of Animation, Finding Nemo family suite: $327.75 per night
- Caribbean Beach, standard view room: $126.00 per night

The prices above are per night, and do not include the 12.5% room tax. Dates covered by this discount are in the regular and peak season, some nights may be more expensive that the prices listed above. Some nights may not be discounted, and weekend prices may be slightly higher.
This offer must be booked by June 14, 2012 to receive the discounted rates above.
Florida residents can also book a package that include these special nightly rates, and one of the three regularly Disney Dining plans along with discounted park passes. Valid proof of Florida residency will be required at check in to receive the discount.

Am I reading that correctly… the Art of Animation suite is almost the price of the Poly? Wow. Guess we’ll be passing on the AoA. I’d like to stay at the Caribbean!
Brian – Correct. The Art of Animation is only discounted about 5%, while the Polynesian discount is closer to 25%. But yes, the family suites there are expensive.
The rates for this Spring are still relatively high compared to the last number of years. Last year I received a promo card in the mail with a 3-digit code to use when booking. It got me about 40% off the newbie/gouge pricing that many people fall victim to by not doing a little research. This year I haven’t received any special offers and the website costs (cheapest I’ve found utilizing the annual passholder discount) is still roughly $1000 more than the same hotel and number of nights as 2011. I sure hope they come out with some sort of discount for March – June, so far this is pretty pricey!!! Any assist or insider knowledge of coming discounts for Spring 2012 is much appreciated. I’m beginning to worry that the current prices are all we’re going to get.
