  • Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort (campgrounds and cabins): 20% off
  • Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn, Animal Kingdom Lodge (standard view rooms only),  Saratoga Springs and Old Key West: 25% off

  • Saratoga Springs, 2 bedroom villa: $453.79

These rates are per night, and do not include the 12.5% resort tax. Weekend nights may be more expensive. Rates cover several seasons, so the rates may be higher for your travel dates than what is listed above.

Those resorts include All-Star Movies, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Port Orleans French Quarter, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, Bay Lake Tower, Beach Club Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Animal Kingdom Villas and the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

This offer must be booked by June 14, 2012. Not all nights or resorts may be available. Guests can book either a room only reservation or a package reservation including tickets and dining plans, though only the room portion will be discounted, tickets and dining plan will be at full rate. Availability is limited.

Will we see any discounts for the week of August 19th? That is when we check in and it seems our dates are stuck between this discount and free dining!

Jean – Most likely, yes. Probably very likely we will see some sort of deal that will start August 15 and run through the end of September, likely to be another room only deal, though it won’t be out for a while.

Any idea on what discounts might come out for October. Arriving 10/7 for 7 days but nothing is posted yet.

Heidi – Probably not until the free dining offer for September expires, so sometime in late May most likely, possibly June.

Hi Keith. Would you have any info on the current bounceback offer. We’re hoping to book a Nov trip on our upcoming April trip. Last i heard several months back it was 35%/30%/25% deluxe/mod/value room discount with lots of blackout dates for the rest of 2012. Any info would be great.

Mike – The bounceback offer is only available for guests currently staying in a Disney resort. You must make a return reservation while at Disney, hence the bounceback name. It is not available to you to book while at home.

I do not have any info at all on what is currently being offered, sorry!

Hi ,I am a Florida resident and promised to take my mrs. to Grand Floridian one night- she’s been obsessed with it since it was on Full House. Do you have any idea what would be cheapest a room is ever available for there? Thank you.

  8. Keith Avatar

Becky – This Summer deal is currently the only discount available for your dates, not a huge savings, but any savings is good. Just call Disney and have them apply it for you.

Michael – You will want to travel during value season, so September or early November/December. Watch for a FL resident discount, you can book a room only reservation with that discount. With the discount, you are probably looking at close to $250 per night for a garden view room.

Thank you so much for the help. I did call and ended up with a credit a little over $90.00.
Do you know too, I got the burmans oficial disney guide for 2012. in the book it states for quick serve meal plan you get 2 quick serve meals, 2 snacks and the resort mug. but when i booked i only got 1 snack.

Becky – For 2012, the dining plans were changed. My guess is that your book was published before the 2012 plans were announced. You can see more about the dining plans here: 2012 Disney World Dining Plans

We are going to disney in june, but im still disappointed that they didnt offer another deal!! i guess some savings is better than none… prob. wont go back again for awhile!!!

  12. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Brandy – Apparently, Disney feels the rooms are full enough that they don’t need to sell additional rooms at a discount. I am a bit surprised too, probably a good chance we will see another round of PIN code deals sent out. Cross your fingers.

    Keith,
I’m wanting to take my daughter to Disney for her birthday. Unfortunately it falls on Labor Day weekend. I’m new to Disney. Is that a pretty busy weekend? Would it be better to go the middle of September? Thanks!
    Betsy

      Keith

Betsy – Labor Day weekend isn’t too bad. The middle of September will be slightly better, but honestly, go the time that works best for you.

I’m with Jean..can’t believe there are no discounts for the Week of August 19th! When, if at all, would you think we would hear about any discount for that week?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Christine – I would think we will see something once the free dining offer expires, so probably mid-May.

Thanks Keith…will anxiously be waiting…hope it is something I will be able to use on the package I booked!

My family and I are planning a trip to Disney July 25th to Aug. 1st. Do you think they will be offering the free meal plan during that time? Are the parks really busy at the end of July?

My family and I are planning on going to Walt Disney World July 24th- August 4, 2012. Do you know if there will be an Annual Passholder Discount for room rates?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Susan – There should be, but we don’t know for sure if there will be or not. We are expecting to see them soon if they are released though.

    Keith,

Does this summer room discount apply if we are going Aug 13-19? Would it apply for our whole week or only the 13-14th? We booked our vacation in January. Thanks!

  18. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Jennifer – Nope. Discounts like this where the room is discounted, but nothing else, typically are only available for the nights included in the travel dates, so checking in August 13, only the first two nights are discounted, the rest are not.

When you have a package deal, like free dining, that is all based on the day you check in, as they can’t give you free dining for one or two days, it is all or nothing.

When do they usually put the dates out for Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party?

  20. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Tessa – The dates were announced this morning, and tickets are now on sale. Just call your travel agent or Disney directly at 407-WDISNEY.

We are planning a trip in August 15-23. Very disappointed when a special deal came out on May 1st at our hotel, but wasn’t available to us when we called that day ( late am). We have been waiting for some sort of special and the day it comes out, it is unavailable. We have a large family and limited places we can stay. We booked this trip back in January and was told by disney rep to watch for specials and call back to receive them, this wasn’t the case. Hoping for possible free dining offer. We are very sad 🙁

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Maryann – Where are you staying? Disney often excludes hotels from deals, as they feel they are going to be full enough without discounts. Let me know where you are staying, I will see what I can do for you.

Keith; Our family also booked a Disney Vacation at the Polynesian Resort back in February there are 4 adults and 2 children. We also got the Delux dining and the 5 day park hopper for August 19 th to the 23 2012. We were also told by a Disney rep to keep checking for discounts. On this late Summer discount, it’s says the Polynesian is only 5 percent discount? We put a deposit down , we were waiting for some kind of discount for either Hotel or Dining. Is there any better discounts other than 5 percent? For either The hotel or Dining?

  23. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Deborah – Not that I am aware of. Have you considered moving to one of the other deluxe resorts? Both the Grand Floridian and Contemporary are discounted more than the Polynesian.

The Polynesian has been excluded from most of the recent discounts, it is pretty popular, and has been booking up on it’s own without deals.

I was thinking of doing a first time Disney vacation the week of July 23-27th. I was wondering about some of the things I may consider including in my package that would save me as much money as possible. Are these dining packages I hear about really worth it? With a 10 and 12 year old, which of the resorts are best to stay in. I assume that some may be catered more to adults?? Any tips would be great. Also, does late booking save any money, as in 2 weeks prior to check-in?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Bridget – Booking late never saves you any money, any discounts are usually long gone by then.

Contact a decent Disney specialist travel agent, they will help you answer all those questions, plus most likely will save you some decent money at no extra cost to you.

We love Mouseketrips, they are great to work with.

going to art of animation finding nemo family suite august 5 – 11 with dining and park hopper with water parks. Having a hard time finding any discounts. Any ideas woud be great.
    Thanks

Joan – Well, other than this Summer deal that expired yesterday, there aren’t any. If you happen to have a Disney VISA credit card, there are some deals just for the Art of Animation available. Other than that, I doubt we will see any further.
