My wife and I are 67 year olds and Florida residents. We’d like to take our son and his family to WDW the end of October 2016. They have a daughter who will be 4 when they arrive and a son who would be 1-1/2 years old. We are on fixed incomes and we’re looking for the best way to go. Whether to get 2 rooms or try to rent something at a DVC. Would you know of any discounts or have any advice as to what way to go?
Thank you and would appreciate any help.

Dan – Thanks for the questions. DVC will not be your cheapest option, you are probably looking at $500/night for OKW or Saratoga Springs, even more for any other option.

We are expecting October discounts, but we will probably not see anything until June or July, maybe August. Your best bet is going to be to do 2 separate rooms at a value or moderate resort, and applying any discounts that come along. I would suggest working with a Disney Travel agent, they will be able to make suggestions for you and apply those discounts. We love Mouseketrips, contact them to get started. Best of luck!
