Disney Cruise Line has made some alterations to the previously announced 2013 Disney Cruises sailing out of Galveston, Texas. Originally scheduled to sail alternating 6 and 8 night cruises in early 2013, the Disney Magic will not offer new itineraries, and choices between 4, 6, and 8 night cruises, all from Galveston.

Eight-night Bahamas sailings include a day at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay; and a stop at Port Canaveral, Fla., giving guests an opportunity to visit the nearby Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, the Disney Wonder is set to arrive in Galveston in late 2013, and that schedule has not change. The Disney Wonder will sail 7 night Western Caribbean Disney Cruises starting on September 28, 2013.
Disney Cruise Line has been heavily discounted cruises from Galveston for this Fall. This is another sign that Galveston is not doing well. We expect further discounts for 2013, and likely more revised itineraries for the later 2013 cruises.
