Kids sail free ONLY. Do you have any kids sail free from Boston?

  2. Keith Avatar

Sally – The only kids sail free offer currently available is the Mexican Riviera cruises that sail from Los Angeles. Disney does not offer any cruises at all that sail from Boston. There are a few during 2012 that sail from NYC, but there aren’t any discounts available on those.

We are looking for a cruise to Hawaii for 2012 and KIds sail for FREE.
    Please let me know.

Paolo – the kids free is on the Mexican Riviera cruises only. The first Hawaiian cruise sold out in a few hours, the second is nearly sold out, there is no way we will see any discounts on either of those cruises.

My friend said the Kids Sail Free was out of California AND Florida. But then again she booked her cruise about 5 weeks ago. Was that a special then? And I missed out. We were wanting out of Florida or Galveston. Any specials you can tell me about for that?

Marshelle – The last two kids sail free offers have been Mexico only, the one before that was for the Alaska cruises last summer, your friend was incorrect. There was a kids sail free offer on Caribbean Cruises for early Spring 2011 dates, so it has been a year since we have seen anything there.

Just wondering if there is any plans for Kids Sail Free in Feb. 2013?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Angie – No idea. Disney has not yet announced the 2013 itinerary for the Wonder, so at this point, we have no idea what cruises will even be available. Disney rarely announces discounts in advance, we just kind of see them and go from there.

Do foresee Disney offering more “Kids Sail Free” promo for 2012?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Cristina – The next possibilities would be the Fall Mexican cruises or possibly the Fall Magic cruises from Galveston. We probably won’t see those deals for some time though.

Thank you Keith for the quick response… one more questions – what are your thoughts as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 toddlers & 1 Infant) Would we even be able to take advantage of such promotion “Kids Sail Free”?

        1. Keith Avatar
          Keith

Cristina – You will need to go to a category 4 stateroom that sleeps 5, but no reason you wouldn’t be able to take advantage of a kids sail free, all three kids would be free.

What if we have 5 children and two adults. Would this even work out for us?

  9. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Laura – Yes, kind of. First off, this deal is long gone, it has been sold out for over a month now. If a new one comes along though, it will work for you. The deal requires the first two people, regardless of age, to pay full price, anyone else is free. With 5 kids, you will have 4 full paying passengers and 3 free ones. Not all your kids will be free, but you still get three free people on board, better than nothing. You could also look at bringing Grandma or someone another adult along, they have to pay full rate either way, but it doesn’t change your price as that adult pays full rate and you get one more kid free.

When will they announce the 2013 itinerary for the Wonder and the 2013 kids sail free? Thank you for your help

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Jen – We are expecting the 2013 schedule for the Wonder and Magic to be released soon. Kids sail free? This deal was announced in September, 2011, I would expect a similar time frame if we see it again for 2013. Not knowing where the ship is going however makes it hard to predict. Kids Sail Free is rare, I wouldn’t expect it again unless the Wonder returns to Mexico for 2013.

ARE THERE ANY KIDS SAIL FREE THIS YEAR AND WHERE DO I GO TO GET IT? OUT OF L.A.TO MEX RIVIERA? ANY TIME THIS YEAR? PLEASE SAY YES AND TELL ME WHO TO CALL

  12. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Margaret – This kids sail free offer sold out quite some time ago, about a month ago. At this point, there are not any kids sail free dates available. It is possible we may see it again for Fall dates for Mexico, but my guess is that that deal will not be announced for some time, probably early summer.

Do you think Disney will be returning to the Mexican Rivera in 2013? Departure Port, Los Angeles.

  14. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Esther – We have no idea at this point, I would guess not. Disney is to make the announcement this Wednesday as to their 2013 plans. They are giving photo hints today and tomorrow on their twitter page: http://www.twitter.com/disneycruise

I looked over the 2013 schedule for a 3 night Bahama cruise. Can the kids cruise free. There are 7 adults and 3 kids ( 7-17)

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Sandy – Kids Sail free is not currently available on any Disney Cruise. This special was for the Mexican Riviera only and for dates early this Spring.

I am planning to take my grandchildren on a cruise in 2013. They will be 2 and 6. Can you email me when the 2013 schedule for free cruises are available so I can book. Also, can you get the “free children” if you book on a payment plan?

  17. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Nannette – At this point, there are not any Kids Sail Free offers on any cruises. These are pretty rare, I wouldn’t count on them for 2013.

Disney Cruise doesn’t offer a payment plan. Every has the same rules, there is a 20% deposit due at the time of booking, the balance is due 75 days before travel. You can make payments as you go along, but it must be paid in full by the 75 day point. Regardless of how you pay, you would be eligible for any discount, that doesn’t matter.

Are there any kids sail free dates yet?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Sarah – All current discounts are listed up in the top left hand corner of each page. We have not seen any kids sail free offers since early this year.

Good morning, can you please advise of any kids go free discounts on the Disney Magic in the Med 2013.

    Kind Regards,

  20. Keith Avatar
    Keith

Elaine – There are not currently any kids sail free or any other offers available on the European cruises. We may see some, though it may be quite some time, those usually are not announced until a few months before hand.

Are there any kids sail free offer coming up for early 2013 for Mexican Riviera cruises that sail from Los Angeles?
    Thanks.

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Farrah – Disney is not sailing from Los Angeles in 2013, they have discontinued the Mexican Riviera cruises for the time being.

I have 4 grandchildren ages 6-1. How are the rooms set up for families of 4-5?

    1. Keith Avatar
      Keith

Barb – Well, first off, there aren’t any kids sail free offers currently available, and we haven’t seen any for a while. This offer is 18 months old.

All stateroom types will sleep 4, with a “master” bed that is queen size, and then a fold down couch that makes a bottom bunk and a pull down top bunk that comes out of the ceiling. Not all rooms have the top bunk, but if you have four in your group, it will. If your family is a group of 5, you will need to book a stateroom designed for 5, even if you have a one year old. Those rooms are the same as the others with the addition of a murphy bed in the room.
