Disney is set to announce their marketing campaign for 2009 for the Disney Parks, “What will you celebrate today?”. This is an interesting direction, targeting celebrations, and honestly, kind of a let down from the great Year of a Million Dreams that I think really captured what Disney is about. For the most part, this will not change the Disney going experience for the seasoned Disney expert. What is of interest to us is the free admission to any Disney park on your birthday. Sweet!
Yep, you heard me right, free admission on your birthday.
This promotion will only run for 2009, and you only have one birthday in 2009, so you better take advantage of it!
Just head on over to DisneyParks.com, and soon there will be a link to register. You don’t need to register, you can just show up at the park on your birthday and get in free. Registering does allow you much quicker access once at the parks though. Once registered, you will receive a form to take with you to the parks, along with some information on required ID to confirm your birthday. So, that is great and all, but what do I do if I already have a park pass. Disney has really thought this one through. If you don’t need the free park pass, for whatever reason, such as you are an annual passholder or you already have MYW tickets as part of your package, Disney gives you some options to choose from:
- One park pass good for one day in any Disney park, good for one year from your birthday.
- A Birthday Fun Card for use in the park on your birthday equal to the value of a one day park pass at that park (so, about $75 at WDW, a bit less at Disneyland).
- Fast Passes for each person in your party, up to a total of 6 people, for use on any ride in any of the parks that day.
For me, this is the thing that makes this promotion work, an extra incentive to make Disney your destination on your birthday.
Watch for more information to be made available today as Disney makes their big announcements.
I want a free pass for my birthday to go to disneyworld.
Melissa

i would like to do my next birthday in Disny with free entry what i have to do?
Raja – This was an offer Disney had made in 2009, but not since then, so looks like you missed it. I guess they could offer it in the futre, but it was much more popular than Disney had imagined, pretty unlikely they will offer another free admission offer anytime soon.
My duagther Jessica White and grandson Kurt White have year passes, and would like to take me to Disneyland on my birthday 02-05-11, I would like a free pass for my birthday this Feb. 2, 2011 whice is this Saturday…what do I have to do to get a free pass? I will be 57 on Saturday.
Josie
Josie – This offer was for 2009 only, and has not been offered since. Happy birthday, have fun at the parks!

Daniela – the free birthday offer was for 2009 only and is no longer available. There isn’t anything available like this for this year.
my sister birthday is in october is there any special offers to go on her birthday we want to go but i hear the offer was only in 2009?
Jose – Correct, the free birthday admission was only during 2009, they have not offered anything like that since then.
I am trying to find out how to get a free ticket for my sister’s birthday in 2012 and what I need to do for it like, do you just go to the ticket booth and ask for a ticket? Does she need to fill out a form? If so, how do I get this form? All/any imformation would be most appreciated 🙂
PS. This is for a birthday in May of 2012 at Disneyland in Anaheim, if that makes any difference.
Hope – The free birthday offer was for 2009 only, it is no longer available.

Holy people here do not know how to read. Offered was only for 2009.
Still no discount for admission on your bday?
