Travel Dates – October 3, 2010 – February 16, 2011
Walt Disney World has released a new discount this morning, where guests who book a Walt Disney World Magic Your Way package that includes their park passes and Disney World resort will receive a Disney Gift Card at check in to use during their stay. The Disney Gift Card varies in value depending on your resort type:
- Disney World Value Resort – $200
- Disney World Moderate Resort – $300
- Disney World Deluxe Resort – $500
- Disney World Deluxe Villa Resort – $500
It appears as the base package is full price, the only “discount” you receive is the gift card. Minimum stay of 5 nights required. Check in dates from November 24 – 26 and December 26 – 31, 2010 excluded from discount. The Disney Quick Service, Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe Disney Dining Plan may be added to the package at full price.

Please note this covers the same dates as the currently available Free Dining offer, which should be a better deal for most people. Only the nights that are within the travel dates will be discounted. Your reservation can extend into the blackout dates, but only the nights during the available periods will be discounted. Rates may not be available all nights, and weekend nights may be higher priced.

Walt Disney World has announced 2011 dining plans, which include some small changes. Please find below a quick overview of all the available dining plans for Walt Disney World along with a downloadable brochure for each with more in depth information.
Please note, as you look at the brochures, many of the restaurants that will be included for 2011 are not currently listed on the brochures. This happens every year, as the agreements and contracts for non-Disney restaurants are negotiated each year when it comes to inclusion in the dining plans. As 2011 approaches, more restaurants will be included, and the list should be similar to 2010. Updates will additional restaurants or changes will be posted here.
Quick Service Dining Plan
Initially introduced in 2009, this plan has only changed slightly for 2010. The Quick Service dining plan appears to be a fantastic option for park guests who don’t want to be tied to eating at a sit down restaurant each day.
The Quick Service Dining Plan includes, per person, per night of your stay:
- Two counter service meals
- Two snacks
- One refillable resort mug
The cost of the Quick Service dining plan is $34.99 per night per adult (10 and older), and $11.99 per child (3 – 9).
