Paul

We have not noticed any problems with the blackout period, only some limited availability. I just checked Movies for your dates, both standard and preferred rooms are available, you should have no problem changing it.

You cannot book the dining plan for only part of your vacation, it must be for every night, so same holds true for Disney, if the discount is available for the free dining, you get it for every night of your stay.

Excellent! I booked directly through Disney's website (an experience unto itself), but I will call them tonight with my confirmation number and have them explain the options that are available to me.

One quick question: since we'll be staying during the blackout period (but check in and out are before and after the blackout dates), do we still qualify for the free dining during the 25th to 29th?

This site is the best thing to happen to my vacation!

Paul

Yes, you will need to contact Disney directly, or whoever booked your reservation for you. Just have them apply the free dining discount. Shouldn't be a problem, based on availability of course.

Question: I already booked my family vacation at Disney and paid the deposit, but we booked at All Star Movies with the Magic Your Way package, and we chose the quick service dining option. Check in is Nov 20 and check out is Nov 30. We got a 9 day park ticket package with water parks. How can I adjust my package to reflect the free dining or upgrade to deluxe dining?

Thanks!
