Our base will fax and or mail the tickets to you if you are not able to get to one. It’s Hill Air Force base in Layton, UT. Look up the website, it’s under recreation and than under tickets. There is a phone number to call not sure what you have to prove over the phone. Also I think it costs more for them to do that but not sure.

Okay, i just read that they can only be purchased at a participating MWR on base offices… Does anyone know where i could find out the nearest or participatng office(s)?

I wanted to where I can purchase the Armed Forces Salute Hopper Tickets. Can they only be purchased at A MWR Office or can they also be purchased at Disneyland?

The tickets are separate, you must get new ones for Disneyland. I know you can get up to 5 total of the companion tickets, so if you have purchased 2 already, you can purchase up to 3 more for Disneyland. I am unsure about the free tickets, as to whether you can get more than one. Your MWR will have to answer that for you.

We just returned from Disney World using the armed forces salute special which was fantastic and saved a lot. We are now planning a trip to Disneyland next month. Are we allowed to use the armed forces salute for Disneyland as well and obtain a free voucher for my active duty spouse as well as tickets for myself and daughter at the MWR or is the special require you to use it at Disney World OR Disneyland not both? Can you please tell me if there are any Disneyland deals that current National Guard (Afghanistan Vet; disabled 40%) can get through MWR or otherwise. I have five kiddos and my spouse that would love to go to Disneyland, but Oregon doesn’t have a MWR. Does Disneyland make any concessions for me and/or my family since I am still a member of the National Guard, but not active duty? We want to head to Disneyland in late July or early August.

A park hopper is a ticket that you can go to one park (Disneyland)and on another day or month there is an expiration date on the hopper, you can visit Disney California Adventure on the other, or vice versa. The hopper pass prices varies by age.

Am I reading this correctly? (The term hopper is not familiar to me unless it what we put on a hook to catch Rainbow trout in Wyoming.)I am 100% disabled from military(USMC). My 5-day ticket would be free and my wife and the little boy we are in the process of adopting will have to pay the equivalent of a one day pass to receive the same addmission as me: Me $0.00, my wife and son will pay a price equal to the cost op a hopper. What is hopper and how much to they cost?

I amy be having a brain f-rt right now.

I really suggest you go see your Base/Post MWR office, this is a great deal and the have more packages that make it better.

That’s really not all that great of a deal, if you ask me. If you have 4 kids (plus the spouse) you’d still be paying $500 for the entry fee…plus hotel expenses. We are “military”…not “millionaires”. It’s a nice gesture, but the price still needs a tad bit more lowering of the prices.
