I’ve been searching websites for our vacation at WDW at the end of OCT. 2010. The Disney sight will not give us the option for the disney dinning plan of our choice, along with another sight. This is the first time i’ve seen them not let you pick what you want for dinning options. How will I know what i am getting?

Neeka – For 2010, the military deals expire September 30, so they are currently not available for December travel dates. No idea if they will be extending them or not, but at this point, it looks unlikely.

2010 Armed Forces Salute Tickets

For 2009, they ran through Christmas, but the last date you could use them was December 23, if extended, I would expect something similar this year. I would look at other ticket options if I were you.

Hi!! My family is traveling from Germany to visit our family at home this Christmas. I was wondering if the Salute Package will still be offered. Also, I’m trying to be clear my husband can get up to 5 family members in as well as myself? I have an ID card but I’m a spouse. Just wanted to be sure b/c we have a rather large family that we’re visiting and there’s about 15 of us coming to Disney from 22Dec-27Dec 2010.

Kelly – no idea. When you called Disney Dining, would they not refund you the money on the phone? They should be able to pull up your reservation to see that you have the dining plan.

Is there availability when you look now for your date/time?

Hi,
I have a question. I currently having Deluxe dining and will be traveling to WDW in a few weeks. I booked Spirit of Aloha on the WDW website and was charged full price on my credit card. I realize now I should have called in and specified I was on the dining plan and wanted to use my credits. I don’t want to cancel my table and rebook (I might lose the table); will WDW refund my credit card and use the dining credits if I ask at check-in at the the show? I already called disney dining and the Polynesian and neither were sure about the policy.

I have a rather off-topic question. Can someone tell me how effective is the “Personalized pre-arrival itinerary planning” from the Platinum Package and will they help me with most of the reservations (like Cirque du Soleil tickets etc)?

Technically, the kids menus are reserved for kids 3 – 9, however, I have had older kids order off it no problem. It may depend on your server though, if they will let it pass or not. At 13, I don’t think it will be a problem.

Hello, can an older child (13) order off the kids menu in sit down restaurants in Disneyworld? I am not planning on purchasing the dining plan.
